He said that the Internet of Things is about the environment where many devices are connected to the internet that can collect data for analysing for other uses. He does not have any Internet of Things devices in his household. He said that the Internet of Things can improve his basic needs and make his life easier. The factor would most accelerate the Internet of Things is when it becomes cheaper. In five or ten years, he believes the Internet of Things will become popular in Thailand. However, we might see it more in developed country first such as the United States and China.

She said that the Internet of Things are one kind of ecosystem which consists of sensors to collect data that is analysed by a processor to do the task automatically. They are not standalone devices so they have to connect to each other. The factor that accelerates the Internet of Things is the increase of convenience to people but it is not significant to her life. From her point of view, it might be necessary if you are run a business and you can use the Internet of Things to reduce the cost which can make you gain more profit or lighten the load of work. Consequently, she believes the trend of the Internet of Things will increase in the near future.

The Internet of Things is a trend for the next few years, Ukrit said. The adoptions of the IoT are growing dramatically now. IoT becomes a major field and the interesting is that IoT can be implemented in everything. He said that he uses the IoT system for automatic weather stations that can collect data such as weather, temperature, humidity, etc. Then he calculates and uses the model to predict the weather with that data. The IoT will become a major feature in household devices in the future. Most of the telecommunication companies provide some networks devices use with IoT. To accelerate the IoT trend you have to broaden the wireless network to cover the area of the whole country. If they can connect to Internet so the IoT can communicate with others. The IoT can be released and used widely.

She said that “IoT is the Technology that can connect devices to Internet” and users can use this technology as a type of smart home. Otherwise we can use it in industry to integrate information and purchasing. IoT can improve our daily lifestyle. One thing that I like from IoT is Cloud Learning. For example, I can send a file from my smartphone to laptop via Airplay. That is an easy way to transfer files from one device to others as we called OTA. I prefer to use the IoT system because we do not want to waste time work or activities, and information is needed to keep and retrieve easily. So, if we adopt the IoT to solve this problem, we can improve our work.
