The project began on the 13 of January and was titled “Basic Web Design Research Project”. It is a requirement of LNG201 Content based Language Learning. The lecturer for this 15-week course was Ajarn John Lawry. The outcome of the project was to produce a simple 4-5-page website based on research. The topic of our research was “What is the Internet of Things & how will it affect to our future”.
In week one we were involved the selection of the topic and team members.

Our first task as a group was to identify the characteristics of good teams and that was followed by setting ground rules for group. We selected Earth as a team leader because he has strong leadership skills and responsibility to keep the work on track to finish this project.
The first stage of the project was to investigate the topic and identify all tasks required to enable completion. The group worked together to produce an implementation plan followed by a Gantt chart. This involved coming up with individual tasks and estimating the time they would take to complete. Many tasks in the project overlap and also some tasks have to be completed before commencing on another.
The next task involved creating a Gantt chart. No one in our group had done this before. So, we used a YouTube video to guide us through the process.

In the second week on the 18 of January, we began to learn how to create and design a Gantt chart from the YouTube video and started to write the proposal. We considered how we can manage the time to complete every task on time.
ln the third week on the 20 of January, we discussed in our group about the questionnaire. We started to think about the aim of the questionnaire and we learnt how to create a good questionnaire. Then, everyone in group thought of questions for the questionnaire and we choose the best eight questions to put on the questionnaire for the survey.
On the 25th of January, Ajarn John helped our group to review and edited the question to interview. After that , we worked together to list the names and find the people who we wanted to interview.
On the 27th of January,we have completed 3 things.

Questionnaire, and ask Ajarn John to check it.
Print hard copy of our three articles of literature review.
On the 1st of February, we presented about who are the persons that we wanted to interview and we discussed the progress of our work. We decided to interview the following 4 people:

On the 3rd of February, Ajarn John taught us about how to write a good background,introduction and the details of a literature review. Then, we continued to do the WIX website and asked Ajarns for permission and write the appointment letter to be sent by e-mail.
On the 8th of February, we completed first draft of content and we continued to learn how to create the home page structure of WIX website and everybody focused on their tasks.
